ALPA wake-up cable for Phase One
This cable is waking up Phase One digital operated in the so called "short latency" or "long latency" mode. Press the button and then release the shutter within the given time (short latency = approx. 2 seconds, long latency = approx. 4-5 seconds). This is mainly for P-series backs like the P25(+), P30(+), P45(+). The newer Phase One P40+ and P65+ feature Dalsa sensors which can also get operated in a "zero latency" mode where no wake-up is needed (always on). Nevertheless, also with these models the cable can be of help (possible battery saving in a latency mode).
